Terms of Use for inBaltic.eu Service

Last updated: July 28, 2025

Before using the inBaltic.eu service, please carefully read the Terms of Use outlined below, as they govern your rights and obligations.

inBaltic.eu is an online platform functioning as a search engine and service for online stores located in the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, and the Republic of Estonia. The primary purpose of the Service is to provide visitors with the ability to search for and compare products to find the most favorable price offers or purchase conditions. The inBaltic.eu Service is available in five languages: English, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, and Russian, ensuring ease of use for a wide range of users.

By accessing and using the inBaltic.eu service (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"), you confirm that you have fully read and unconditionally agree to these Terms of Use. Should you have any questions regarding the use of our Service, our team is ready to provide the necessary consultation. To contact our technical support, you can send an email to: [email protected].

1. Service Use for Visitors and Disclaimer

Website visitors can use the inBaltic.eu service absolutely free of charge to compare products from various online stores in the Baltic countries.

Users who visit the Service without registration (as unregistered visitors for product search and comparison) do not provide any personal or registration data about themselves, except for what may be anonymously collected with the help of analytical tools (for example, Google Analytics) to improve targeting and understanding of audience behavior.

Hereby, inBaltic.eu declares itself as an aggregator platform designed for searching, comparing, and selecting products from various online stores registered in the Baltic countries. We provide Users with a convenient tool to navigate market offers. It is important to understand: The operator of the inBaltic.eu platform is not a seller or buyer of products presented by third-party online stores in our system. We do not participate in their sale, supply, payment, or return processes. Accordingly, inBaltic.eu is not responsible for the obligations of these third-party online stores to Users, including, but not limited to, issues of product quality, delivery, warranty service, or returns. All transactions for such products are conducted directly between the User and the chosen third-party online store, and are governed exclusively by their terms of sale and applicable law. Exception: Products from the platform operator's own store. The inBaltic.eu platform also integrates offers from its own online store, which belongs to the platform operator and is registered under the same legal entity. If goods are purchased from this specific store, the platform operator acts as the direct seller and bears full responsibility for the transaction in accordance with the terms of sale.

As soon as a User (potential buyer) performs a search on our platform, and offers from other online stores appear in the search results, the User independently and at their discretion selects a specific online store, product, and its offer.

Users should be aware that information on prices and product availability on our Service is updated once every 24 hours. Accordingly, the displayed prices may not be real-time and may differ from the prices actually valid on the online store's website at the time of transition. For the most accurate information, it is always recommended to check the final price and product availability directly on the seller's website.

inBaltic.eu bears no responsibility for the User's choice, their subsequent transition to external seller websites, or for any subsequent actions, including, but not limited to, placing an order, payment, receiving the product, its quality, warranty service, or any disputes arising between the User and the selected online store.

All risks associated with product selection, making a purchase, and subsequent relationships with the online store to which the User was redirected from our platform are fully assumed by the User (visitor, potential client).

We highly value your privacy and are committed to strictly adhering to all necessary data protection standards, including the use of cookies and the collection of personal information about website visitors.

Cookies are used to collect information about your interaction with our website, such as preferred settings or visit history, with the aim of improving your user experience and personalizing the services provided. We also collect data on user behavioral trends and preferences for analysis and further improvement of the functionality and quality of the inBaltic.eu Service.

The collected data is used exclusively for the purpose of improving user experience and optimizing our services. We strictly comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to data protection and guarantee their confidentiality and security.

By using our Service, you express your consent to the use of cookies and the collection of data about your interaction with the website in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the use of your data, please contact us through our support service.

For more information, please also see Paragraph 3. Cookies and Privacy.

2. Data and Its Use by Online Store Owners

When registering an account with the Service and wishing to be featured on the inBaltic.eu platform, only Online Store Owners are obliged to provide accurate and complete data about their online store. This data includes the company's legal details and the online store's logo.

The data you provide is used in strict accordance with our Privacy Policy, which fully complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your legal data and store website data are used exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the functioning of your account in our Service, providing access to all its functionalities, and for displaying publicly available information about your company and online store.

With the exception of the login, password, and email address used for registration, all other company data filled in by the Online Store Owner (including legal data) is public. This data is displayed on your store's internal profile page, accessible to any Service visitor by clicking on the logo or store name in the product card within the search results. This is done to ensure maximum transparency and honesty in e-commerce, allowing Service visitors to familiarize themselves not only with the online store but also with the owning company. Users can independently verify this data, for example, through public registries such as Lursoft.

inBaltic.eu is not responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the information provided by the online store. The Online Store Owner bears full and sole responsibility for the truthfulness and correctness of all specified data, as the Online Store Owner has the ability to change their store or company data at any moment. In case of any incorrect information, you can report it to our support service, and we undertake to verify this request within 1 (one) to 14 (fourteen) business days. We recognize the rapid growth and development of e-commerce, and therefore see no point in restricting our clients from updating information about their online store and company. However, we oblige Owners to constantly monitor the truthfulness and honesty of the data provided. Even if the online store is in a grace period, this does not exempt it from responsibility for the correctness of its data, as it is aware that its online store is displayed on our platform and has previously provided a link to data export.

If a logo is provided, it will be used within our Service to identify your online store on our website, as well as in marketing materials and advertising campaigns aimed at promoting the inBaltic.eu Service online. This use is intended to increase your brand recognition and attract more potential customers, which contributes to mutually beneficial cooperation between your store and our Service. Consent to the use of the logo is valid throughout the period of your account's activity and the provision of services by the Service.

By agreeing to the Terms of Use of the inBaltic.eu service, you also give consent to the use of the provided information (including the logo, if provided) for the purpose of promoting the inBaltic.eu Service. This includes permission to use your store's data and logo in marketing materials and advertising campaigns aimed at promoting our Service. We strive to form a mutually beneficial partnership with each user and guarantee that your information will be used with due respect and in accordance with your interests.

Regarding XML links for online stores for product export: this data is used exclusively for integrating products into our search system and is not transmitted or sent to any other location or third parties.

3. Cookies and Privacy

To improve website functionality, personalize content, and provide relevant advertising, we use cookies and similar technologies. We strive to ensure transparency and control over your data in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By using our Website, you confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy. Your consent to the use of cookies (with the exception of strictly necessary ones) is requested and managed via a special cookie banner upon your first visit to the Website. You have the option to change your cookie settings and withdraw consent at any time either through this banner or your browser settings.

All detailed information about the types of data we collect, the purposes of their processing, legal bases, the third-party services we use (including Google Analytics, Google Ads, AdSense, Meta, Adnet Media, Smartad, Cloudflare Inc., and others), retention periods, and your rights as a data subject is provided in our full Privacy Policy.

Additionally, we use the third-party service www.cookie-script.com, which provides a cookie management solution fully compliant with GDPR requirements and updates. This service helps us to inform users about our cookies, obtain their consent for their use, and provide the ability to manage their privacy settings.

We recommend regularly reviewing our Privacy Policy to get the latest information.

4. Rules for Data Provision by Service Clients (Online Stores) and VAT

The company specified in the registration details must be the legal owner of the online store or an authorized person entitled to issue invoices on behalf of this company for sold goods.

Payment for the promotion of an online store in our system by another company is not allowed, except in cases where such a company can provide a tripartite agreement for the provision of marketing services, concluded for a specific period. Even with such an agreement, the registration details must include information about the owning company or an authorized person.

All data entered into the fields of the "Company Details" section will be automatically displayed in the invoices issued to you.

Regarding VAT for companies from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania:

  • Our company, YUKON SIA, registered in the Republic of Latvia, is a VAT payer in the Republic of Latvia. The inBaltic.eu Service, functioning as a search engine and service for online stores, provides services that inherently cover the entire Baltic market (Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia). By placing your online store on our comparison platform, you simultaneously use services intended for the internal market of all three Baltic countries.

  • Since the place of provision of our services is determined as the Republic of Latvia (location of the supplier), and the service itself is considered provided in Latvia for companies from the Baltic countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia), the standard VAT rate of the Republic of Latvia (21%) will be applied to invoices, regardless of your company's country of registration in the Baltics. Thus, services provided to companies from Lithuania and Estonia do not fall under the reverse charge mechanism.

  • You are obliged to check the corresponding box for VAT payer status if your company is registered as a VAT payer in your country. If your company is not a VAT payer, checking this box is strictly prohibited.

You bear full and sole responsibility for the accuracy of the data you provide in the "Company Details" section. We reserve the right to request supporting documents and/or suspend the account in case of inaccurate information or inability to verify it.

5. Account Registration and Product Broadcasting

Online stores registered in the Baltic countries (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) have the opportunity to register an account on our website and broadcast their products on the inBaltic.eu Service. To do this, a valid XML export link containing up-to-date data on products available in the registered online store's warehouse must be provided.

The XML link is a hyperlink to your domain, through which the necessary data about your online store's active products are exported in XML format. Based on this link, your products are integrated with our search system.

When registering an online store account on our website and broadcasting products via an XML link, you provide us with the following information about each product:

  • Product Name: Displayed on our website.
  • Product Link: Direct link to the product page in your store.
  • Product Price: The price indicated in your store.
  • Product Image: Link to the product image for visualization.
  • In Stock: Information about product availability (0 – out of stock, 1 – in stock).

This data is formatted in XML and transmitted via the export link provided by the online store. Upon receipt of this data, we integrate the products into our search system, providing users with convenient access to up-to-date product information. We reserve the right to reject or deactivate XML feeds that do not comply with the established format or contain incorrect data.

Data export format standards:

	<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
	<root>
		<item>
			<name>Apple AirPods Pro</name>
			<link>https://example.lv/product_id=107</link>

This format ensures the transmission of all necessary information about each product, complying with integration and data security requirements.

6. Product Data Updates in inBaltic.eu Service and Pricing Liability Limitations

After a new user registers and activates a subscription in the Personal Account, product integration into the inBaltic.eu search results is usually completed within 24 business hours. The integration time may vary depending on the time of new Service user registration, however, this process typically occurs much faster than the stated period. We make every effort to ensure quick and efficient integration of all users into our platform. Our goal is to provide you with instant access to up-to-date product and price information on our website.

We regularly update product and price information, ensuring that you always have current data. Daily XML data updates, including price actualization, are carried out in the evening — usually between 03:30 and 04:30 (local time in Latvia). This time interval was chosen to minimize impact on users and ensure the highest stability and availability of the Service.

Due to the single daily data update, inBaltic.eu cannot guarantee instant reflection of price changes made by online store owners on their own websites. Accordingly, prices displayed on our Service may differ from current prices on the seller's website. Users are always recommended to check the final price and product availability directly on the online store's website.

inBaltic.eu is exempt from any claims related to incorrect price display for products caused by the following reasons:

  • Time difference in updates: If the online store owner updated prices on their website, but these changes have not yet been reflected in our system due to the daily XML feed update cycle.
  • Technical failures and force majeure circumstances: Possible technical malfunctions, fluctuations, failures, or other force majeure circumstances, as well as human error, which could have affected the incorrect display of prices on our website. In such cases, we are unable to make technical corrections on the client's side (online store owner).
  • Outdated XML feed: If the online store owner updated prices on their website but did not update their export XML feed, we will retain old price information.

Online store owners are obliged to timely update their data export (XML feed) for provision to our Service and bear full responsibility for the correctness and relevance of the displayed products and prices. Our platform is based solely on the data you provide via the XML feed.

7. Subscription and Payment

To ensure product broadcasting in the inBaltic.eu Service's search results, an active subscription is required. Below is information about the three available inBaltic.eu Service subscription types:

  • Basic: 4.90 EUR (including VAT) / monthly.
  • Advanced: 9.90 EUR (including VAT) / monthly.
  • Premium: 19.90 EUR (including VAT) / monthly.

*A detailed description of the functional capabilities of each subscription type is also available in the user's Personal Account, in the "Home" section when selecting the "Create Subscription" option. It is highly recommended to familiarize yourself with the differences between subscription types before activating them.

After successful user registration and subscription activation in the Personal Account, the system will automatically make regular subscription payments. Payments will be debited once every 30 days and will automatically renew, including the fixed amount of the selected subscription type. The user has the right to change or cancel the subscription type at any time through the Personal Account without any additional burdens or penalties. All these processes are fully automated for maximum user convenience.

The user's Personal Account provides a function to change the subscription type by clicking on the edit icon in the active subscription block of the "Home" section. When changing the subscription type, the previous active subscription is automatically deactivated. The new subscription is successfully activated with a new start date, and funds for its renewal are debited after the 30-day period expires. The user can only have one active subscription type at any given time.

The user understands and unconditionally agrees that they are not entitled to claim a refund for a previous active subscription or a newly created subscription, even if they change the active subscription type to another within 30 days after the activation of the previous subscription. This rule applies regardless of whether the change was an upgrade or a downgrade of the subscription type.

Upon cancellation of the current subscription, products continue to be displayed in the inBaltic.eu Service's search results until the paid period of 30 days expires. Immediately after the user cancels the subscription in the Personal Account, the subscription status will automatically change to "Disabled". After the specified period, product broadcasting will cease, and the integration status will also change to "Disabled".

8. Use of Payment Solution

We cooperate with “Stripe” — a leading payment platform — to ensure secure and reliable payment processing for our Service subscriptions, as well as for topping up advertising campaign balances. “Stripe” is an international payment system that strictly adheres to high standards of security and customer data protection. All payments are collected in accordance with Stripe's terms and policies, as well as with due regard to legal norms and regulations applicable in the countries where our Service is provided.

Topping up advertising campaign balances is also done through “Stripe,” which provides a unified and reliable payment solution for all financial operations within our Service.

Official legal details of Stripe:

  • Company Name: Stripe, Inc.
  • Address: 510 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States
  • Contact Email: [email protected]
  • Website: https://stripe.com

9. Advertising Campaigns for Products on inBaltic.eu Service

Administrators of a successfully connected online store have the opportunity to launch advertising campaigns for individual products on the inBaltic.eu platform. After successful integration of the store into the search results based on XML export, a list of your currently available products for advertising becomes accessible in the Personal Account in the "Advertising" section. Here, users can initiate advertising campaigns for specific products with an increased click-through rate, which provides the opportunity to display their offers to website visitors in priority positions of our Service's search results.

On each search results page, the first two slots are reserved for advertising products. Further, on each subsequent page, advertising products are placed according to a progressive rate: the higher the cost per click (transition to the product) for the store, the higher position its product occupies on the Service's search results page.

For this service, clients pay a separate cost for each click on their product, which ensures its display in the top positions of the search results, regardless of its base price and offer conditions. The cost per click can vary from 0.05 euro cents to 0.15 euro cents for each click (i.e., for each visitor's transition to the product page in the store).

The price per click determines the display priority of the product for relevant keywords. Ads with a higher bid have priority display. The use of advertising is paid for using the Advertising Campaign Balance, available in the Personal Account. After activating an advertising campaign, funds are automatically debited from the balance, thereby allowing control over the dynamics of fund usage on the Advertising Campaign Balance.

In the "Advertising" section, users can obtain statistics on traffic for any selected period to analyze the effectiveness of the advertising campaign. These statistical data are provided solely for informational purposes. An advertising campaign can be paused at any time in the Personal Account in the "Advertising" section. This process is also fully automated for maximum client convenience.

10. Product Traffic Statistics

In the user's Personal Account, full statistics on visitor activity of the inBaltic.eu Service for products of the connected online store are available. The "Home" section provides daily statistics with the total number of clicks on the store for a specific day. In addition, a widget is presented for analyzing click statistics for a specific product from the assortment of the connected online store. This widget allows filtering data for any given period.

As mentioned in Paragraph 9 of these Terms of Use, the "Advertising" section also provides up-to-date information on launched advertising campaigns for specific products, with all data broadcast in real-time.

Additionally, traffic statistics will be regularly sent to the email addresses of online store owners, specified during registration, via the Sendpulse service. The email with statistics will arrive on Tuesdays at 10:00 (Latvian local time). This will allow you to receive timely reports and analyze the effectiveness of placing your products on our platform.

We want to emphasize that inBaltic.eu cannot guarantee a huge increase in traffic or a stable flow of transitions to your online store. Success in attracting customers and increasing sales depends on many factors, including:

  • Market demand and product relevance: How popular and relevant are the products offered by your online store. If products are not in demand by consumers, the risk of low traffic, visibility, and conversions increases, as users simply do not search for them.
  • Seasonality and relevance: Are your products subject to seasonal fluctuations in demand, or are they morally outdated.
  • Price competitiveness: Your price must be competitive compared to similar offers on the market.
  • Assortment and availability: The total quantity and variety of products offered.

Online store owners must understand that inBaltic.eu only provides them with a platform (arena) where they can easily enter neighboring markets, but we do not guarantee an increase in customer flow. All the above factors collectively determine the number of transitions and clicks. If you observe a low number of clicks, we recommend comparing your offers with competitors or analyzing your products for their attractiveness to consumers.

11. Disputing Completed Payments and Refunds

After activating or renewing a subscription to the inBaltic.eu Service, the user has the right to dispute a completed payment and submit a refund request within fourteen (14) calendar days. Potential reasons for a refund request may include, but are not limited to, the inability to successfully integrate the online store into our platform due to technical problems with XML export or other unforeseen circumstances.

It is important to note that each refund request is considered on an individual basis, taking into account the technical and organizational costs incurred during the process of integrating the store into our Service. Ensuring the stable and reliable operation of the platform requires significant resources, therefore, a refund is possible only if there are compelling reasons and confirmation of relevant issues.

Furthermore, it should be noted that funds topped up to the Advertising Campaign Balance in the inBaltic.eu service are not refundable after fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of payment. This provision complies with current legislation and contributes to ensuring the stability and continuity of our Service.

12. Changes to the Terms of Use

We, YUKON SIA, registered in the Republic of Latvia, with Registration Number 42103088542, reserve the exclusive right to make changes to these Terms of Use at any time. We undertake to inform our clients of any significant changes by sending notifications to the email address provided during registration. These changes come into effect immediately upon their publication on our website.

You hereby confirm that you undertake to regularly familiarize yourself with the Terms of Use and any changes thereto. In case of questions or disagreement with the changes made, please contact us using the provided contact details to clarify the situation and resolve the issue.

You retain all intellectual property rights to the content that you upload or provide to the Service (e.g., product data, descriptions, images, store logos). However, by providing such content to the Service, you grant inBaltic.eu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, modify, and create derivative works based on such content solely within the scope of the functioning, provision, and promotion of the inBaltic.eu Service. This license is valid throughout the period of your account's activity and the provision of services by the Service.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The inBaltic.eu Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties of any kind. In no event shall inBaltic.eu, its affiliates, licensors, and suppliers provide any warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation, accuracy, reliability, absence of errors, security, or continuity of the Service, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement of intellectual property rights.

InBaltic.eu does not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable, or that the quality of any products, services, information, or other materials purchased or obtained by you through the Service will meet your expectations.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall inBaltic.eu, its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, licensors, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for lost profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from: the use or inability to use the Service; the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services; unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; statements or conduct of any third party on the Service; or any other matter relating to the Service, regardless of whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if inBaltic.eu has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In any event, the total aggregate liability of inBaltic.eu for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms of Use shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to inBaltic.eu for the use of the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless inBaltic.eu, its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, expenses, or costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or in connection with: your use of the Service; your breach of these Terms of Use; any content you provide to the Service; your violation of applicable law or the rights of any third party. This provision shall survive the termination of these Terms of Use.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Use, including their breach, termination, or validity, shall be finally settled in the courts of the Republic of Latvia at the location of YUKON SIA. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

Thank you for using our service inBaltic.eu.
